This 3-prong Maori Heru Comb with Koru Twist is really beautiful.
The Heru is hand carved from cow bone.
It has 3 prongs, and at the top is carved into a single love twist, with an inner koru.
The twist design carries a spiritual meaning, as does the koru. The single twist is a symbol of eternal love or friendship between two people.
The perfect gift between friends or lovers.
The Koru design represents the unfurling new fern shoot, and signifies peace, tranquility, new beginnings, and positive change.
As well as the carved design, surface carving of koru has also been supplied, making the heru even more beautiful.
This heru measures approximately 16cm (6 3/8") long, and comes to you in a lovely black box.
