Binding of bone or greenstone necklaces is a service we have been asked for many times, so we are happy to have now found someone who can do this for you.
It may be you have a much greenstone or bone necklace, but the cord has frayed or stretched or even broken, and you haven't been able to wear it anymore. Well now you can!
Depending on how your necklace is carved, select from the three binding options:
- Side bound
- Cross over lashing
- Centre bound
You can also choose from the following colours:
- Brown
- Black
- Sage Green
- Navy
- Turquoise
- Red
The cord is plaited, and finished with slip knots. Remember to tell us what length cord you want, in the Options box above.
Order the binding service then send us your necklace. We will get your necklace bound and returned to you, usually within a week.
IMPORTANT: Choose your method of shipping carefully. Once the necklace leaves our hands, we take no responsibility for it. So choose your shipping method wisely. Airmail is not tracked or insured. Tracked Airmail is tracked but not insured. Economy Courier and Express Courier are tracked and insured, and the service is speedier than Airmail.

Shipping Times during Covid-19
Currently (January 2021), Airmail to Australia and the USA is taking about 5 weeks, and Airmail to the UK and Europe is taking 6-7 weeks. Airmail to South America is at least 8 weeks, and allow up to 12 weeks.
Economy Courier and Express Courier are up to 10 working days worldwide.
As always, we do not guarantee Airmail or Courier shipping times, as they are beyond our control.
Courier shipping times within New Zealand are approximately one working day to the North Island, 2 working days to the South Island (with an overnight option available at a different price), and up to 3 days to rural areas.
