This large NZ Greenstone Twist with Koru Necklace is made in New Zealand by a group of skilled carvers.
The Maori twist design spiritually signifies true love or friendship. The twist design (pikorua) represents two fern shoots growing together, intertwining with each other like the love of two people. It has no beginning or end, and has twists and turns just like friendship or love does.
Inside the twist is a Maori Koru. The Koru represents an unfurling new fern shoot, and its design signifies peace, tranquility, positive change and new beginnings. So it is also a great gift for someone experiencing a new phase in their life, like a new job or parenthood.

The Greenstone Pikorua necklace is a good size at 53mm (2 1/8"), big enough to really show off the beauty of NZ pounamu. It rests on a black adjustable cord so you can put it over your head and then adjust the cords to sit the greenstone wherever you want around your neck.

Currently (January 2021), Airmail to Australia and the USA is taking about 5 weeks, and Airmail to the UK and Europe is taking 6-7 weeks. Airmail to South America is at least 8 weeks, and allow up to 12 weeks.
Economy Courier and Express Courier are up to 10 working days worldwide.
