This Large Maori Bone Twist and Koru Necklace incorporates a Maori Koru inside a Maori Twist. The pendant is made from cow bone.
The Maori Twist design depicts two new shoots growing together, and signifies the bond of friendship or love. The twist depicts the twists and turns of true love or friendship, and the idea that it has no beginning or end. It is therefore ideal for close friends to give to each other, or for newlyweds, either as a gift to each other or a gift to the couple from friends or family.
The Koru carved into the lower half of the pendant represents peace, tranquility, new beginnings, and personal growth.
This Maori Bone Twist and Koru Necklace measures approximately 7.5cm (3" in length and 3cm (1 1/8") at its widest, and comes to you on a traditional black cord. The necklace also comes to you on a descriptive card.
