Merino Possumsilk is a fabulous fibre from New Zealand. It is created from a blend of 55% ultra fine merino lambswool, 35% luxurious possum fur, and 10% Mulberry silk.
Ultrafine Merino wool is very warm and soft, and not itchy. Possum fur is warmer than wool due to the hollow core of the fur, trapping air inside the fibre. Silk is luxuriously warm and smooth. The mix gives strength, softness and incredible warmth.

The Australian Brushtail Possum was introduced into New Zealand in the 1800s, with disastrous results. Throughout our country, an estimated population of 80 million possums destroys 22000 tonnes of our indigenous flora every night, not to mention all the native birds that it kills each night, including our endangered iconic kiwi bird. With no natural predators, there is no way to naturally control the species, hence the need to control numbers by hunting and trapping.

Currently (January 2021), Airmail to Australia and the USA is taking about 5 weeks, and Airmail to the UK and Europe is taking 6-7 weeks. Airmail to South America is at least 8 weeks, and allow up to 12 weeks.
Economy Courier and Express Courier are up to 10 working days worldwide.
