This NZ Christmas Travelling Kiwi Ornament depicts a Kiwi on his big OE.
"What's an OE?" you ask? OE means "overseas experience" and it is a part of classic Kiwi life. We feel so far away from the rest of the world that it's perfectly normal, even expected, that young Kiwi people, once they have finished their schooling, will head overseas to experience the rest of the world. They leave, they travel, they work overseas. And hopefully they eventually come back.
So the OE Kiwi is ideal to give to friends or family heading overseas, especially at Christmas time. The Xmas OE Kiwi carries a suitcase under his wing, and a small tiki around his neck. And just to look festive, he has a sparkly red and green hat on his head.
OE Kiwi stands approximately 14cm (5 1/2") tall, and hangs from a golden cord.

Currently (January 2021), Airmail to Australia and the USA is taking about 5 weeks, and Airmail to the UK and Europe is taking 6-7 weeks. Airmail to South America is at least 8 weeks, and allow up to 12 weeks.
Economy Courier and Express Courier are up to 10 working days worldwide.

Courier shipping times within New Zealand are approximately one working day to the North Island, 2 working days to the South Island (with an overnight option available at a different price), and up to 3 days to rural areas.
