This large size NZ Kakariki Bird Soft Toy can be pressed to hear the real sound of the bird.
Known in NZ as the Kakariki, this Red Crowned Parakeet is entirely green apart from the mask of red on its head and around their eyes.
Found in and around Stewart Island and the Auckland Islands, the Kakariki feeds on berries, fruit and insects and quite often can be found nesting in holes in trees.
This kakariki stands approximately 22cm (8 5/8") tall. (Sorry, the smaller kakariki is no longer available).
