(Rimu, pronounced Ree-moo, is a gorgeous native New Zealand timber with beautiful color and grain. It is also strong and tough. It is now in scant supply, and this timber originated from fallen logs which were harvested and milled on a family farm not far from here.
In keeping with the New Zealand Clean & Green image, the board has been finished with a high grade, nature friendly combination of oils, then polished with natural beeswax. To care for the timber, occasionally lightly rub it over with olive oil or natural wood wax.
Take care of it, don't put it in the dishwasher, and it will be a future heirloom.

Small - 200 x 150 x 20mm (7 3/4" x 6" x 3/4") - with silver plated knife
Medium - 250 x 180 x 20mm (9 3/4" x 7" x 3/4") - with stainless steel knife
Large - 300 x 200 x 20mm (11 3/4" x 7 3/4" x 3/4") - with stainless steel knife
NB: The boards are now (2017) packaged in a beautiful black box as in the photo above.

Currently (January 2021), Airmail to Australia and the USA is taking about 5 weeks, and Airmail to the UK and Europe is taking 6-7 weeks. Airmail to South America is at least 8 weeks, and allow up to 12 weeks.
Economy Courier and Express Courier are up to 10 working days worldwide.
As always, we do not guarantee Airmail or Courier shipping times, as they are beyond our control.
Courier shipping times within New Zealand are approximately one working day to the North Island, 2 working days to the South Island (with an overnight option available at a different price), and up to 3 days to rural areas.
