This carved Maori Taiaha on Stand makes a great birthday gift, 21st present, business or corporate gift, or to add to your collection. The taiaha is not attached to the stand, just sitting in a cradle.
The Taiaha is a pre-European weapon. It was usually around 1.5metres long. This one is approximately 91cm (36") long. The stand is approximately 75cm (29 1/2") long. The taiaha was used to jab with the tongue end and hit with the thin flat blade end. The tongue is carved and has paua shell eyes.
You can choose to have the stand or the taiaha engraved, with up to 5 words for the price shown. Enter the words in the Options box above. If engraved, it can only be returned if faulty.

Currently (January 2021), Airmail to Australia and the USA is taking about 5 weeks, and Airmail to the UK and Europe is taking 6-7 weeks. Airmail to South America is at least 8 weeks, and allow up to 12 weeks.
Economy Courier and Express Courier are up to 10 working days worldwide.

Courier shipping times within New Zealand are approximately one working day to the North Island, 2 working days to the South Island (with an overnight option available at a different price), and up to 3 days to rural areas.
