This beautiful New Zealand Greenstone Manaia Necklace would be my current favourite.  With a Koru carved into its lower edge, a whale tail, and Maori carving on the whale tail, it is a work of art.

In Maoridom, designs carry a spiritual message. The Manaia is a carrier of supernatural powers, and it acts as a provider and protector over the sky, earth and sea. It is normally depicted with a bird-like head, but often with other human features as well. In this case the whale tail signifies its protection of sea creatures.
